Dear Sexpert,
I recently read about an A-spot in the New York Daily News. What is the A-spot? Does my girlfriend have one? And how do I find it?

Dear Anonymous,
One of the best-kept sexual secrets to wetter, better sex is at one's fingertips in the area of a woman's body called the "A-spot."
Deep in the vaginal canal lies the key to lubrication - the Anterior Fornix Erogenous (AFE) Zone, aka "A-spot." Located midway between a woman's cervix and G-spot, it's a smooth area on the anterior wall of the vagina that is extremely sensitive to touch and appears as a spongy, wrinkled swelling. What makes the AFE Zone so amazing is that it not only plays a role in vaginal lubrication, but according to female testimony, also has erogenous qualities.
Such findings have led to a new form of foreplay - the AFE Zone Stimulation Technique. The technique, which focuses on the A-spot, has been found to help women who complain of sandpaper sex due to vaginal dryness. Plus, such stimulating sex play can be just the right touch for lovers longing for an overflow of natural, vaginal lubrication.
When a woman becomes sexually aroused, a 'sweating phenomenon' of lubricating fluid across the vaginal walls occurs. In order for a lubrication response to occur using the A-spot, the area must be constantly stimulated so that a consistent vasocongestion (the accumulation of blood in the genitals) takes place. This means a lot of finger action that zeros in on the A-spot.
It was with all of this in mind that Dr. Chua Chee Ann of Perak, Malaysia formulated the AFE Zone Stimulation Technique. He reported that the influence of the AFE zone on vaginal lubrication, combined with the A-spot's erogenous properties, could be used to treat females complaining of vaginal dryness. In addition, he reported that the combination of vaginal lubrication and erotic sensitivity stemming from the A-spot could lead to orgasms.
The AFE Zone Stimulation Technique works the following way:
1. Begin A-spot stimulation by finding the area itself. The best way to do this is to insert your index finger into the girl's vagina while she's squatting or sitting with her back against a support and her legs bent and pulled up towards her body.
2. With your index finger, gently stroke the inner (upper) half of her anterior vaginal wall.
3. As soon as she starts to lubricate, bring your finger out to stroke both the spongy area that is at the outer (lower) half of her anterior vaginal wall, as well as the AFE zone. The stroke should be comprised of repeated, in-and-out finger motions that cover the entire length of the anterior vaginal wall.
If you become tired, or if you simply want to enjoy watching her pleasure herself, have your partner take over. Note that for her body to become increasingly stimulated by this method, the technique should be practiced daily for at least one week, for about 5 to 10 minutes each time.
Once familiar with the technique, sex can only get better. You and your partner can endlessly explore the erogenous powers of the A-spot during foreplay, all while increasing her vaginal lubrication, improving her sexual response and perhaps eventually attaining instant orgasm. €¢
